I was a patient of Dr. Dougherty's for 8 years. Sadly, I had to leave because I changed my dental insurance. Dr. Dougherty is probably the best dentist I've ever had. He has a great bedside manner, so gentle and very conservative in his approach. He will not try to upsell you into getting unneccessary procedures. I always felt like he really cared about me and my dental health (and my pocket book!). The staff is also wonderful and any time I was in any pain, they were able to get me in right away. Highly recommend this office to anyone!

I'm 52 and cracked my first tooth- rear molar w/a big old amalgam filling, darn those frozen acai berries. My insurance dentist was going to grind it all down and crown the tooth. i went to Dr. D. for a second opinion and i am sooo happy. He was prompt, professional, kind, and he saved my tooth w/his excellent skill and judgement, Dr. D meticulously made a mold for the part that cracked off, then he fussed w/the replacement until it was perfect! The temporary felt like a perfect fit, and the permanent looks and feels like how God intended the tooth to be. My kids commented that it is the best looking tooth in my mouth. Thank you to Dr. D, when you want the best, go to Dr. D.

I was in total pain and he would not even take 5 minutes to check his work and tell me what was wrong. He seemed great initially until there was a problem then things changed and all the politness disapeared. All he was interested in doing was to sent me to a "specialist" where I was charged for another procedure on the same tooth. Dougherty had just placed a crown on that tooth just two weeks before. He did not take responsibility or guarantee his work. I had to pay twice for a crown and a root canal. I would not go to this dentist there is better out there.

Dr. Dougherty has great chair-side manners, and a beautiful setting so you can view the pacific ocean from your chair. I always felt confident in his abilities and his staff is great and very professional. They do a great job on cleanings and checkups and help with the insurance payments.
