My mom wanted to get her silver fillings replaced with white ones. She asked how much it would cost, and it was so expensive, she decided just to do the two molars closest to the front that people can see most clearly. She came home, looked at them in the mirror, and they were silver. I called the office and talked to the receptionist and she said, there must be a mistake, like I'm looking at the wrong teeth or they are white, but just appear silver. *what?!* What do you mean they are white, but appear silver...that means they are silver!!! I said, "No, I'm looking at the right teeth and they are silver." So we made another appointment for my mom to go in to get it fixed.
The receptionist and dentist looked at the teeth and confirmed - indeed it was silver. He apologized for the mistake and refilled the two teeth. *HOW?!* How can you make that mistake after she told you she wanted to replace all her silver fillings with white ones? The second time around, he just plain out did such a shotty job, you can still see the former silver filling that were placed in there. My mom had to go somewhere else and have it refilled a THIRD time, just for it to be done correctly.

Dr. Doug Emery is thorough and doesn't charge for unnecessary treatment. He will point out some possible problem areas and will evaluate the situation over time. If absolutely necessary, he will make a recommendation for further treatment. He's a true professional and makes you feel comfortable. The staff is great also!
