In 1979, my girlfriend and I were in need of a dentist and a friend recommended Dr Calvin Low, who had recenlty established his new practice on Grand Ave in Oakland.
We found Cal to be the most excellent dentist we had ever been seen by...kind, gentle, engaging and efficent, and most importantly - painless! As of today, my wife (that girlfriend said yes!) and I have raised two children with Dr Low, and referred many friends and family members as well.
I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr Low and his assistant Joyce are a joy to interact with. Dr Low does his own cleanings. It is a small office, not too high tech, but very competent. I have not had extensive dental work, so I am unable to evaluate that. For fillings, cleaning and preventive work, Dr Low is great. If you want a lot of direct dentist contact and a caring office, this is the place to go. Dr Low has years of experience and keeps up with the latest research
