I got a cleaning, x-rays and checkup done. The hygenist was good - she did the cleaning by hand and I could tell she was qualified. Dr. Hakim walked me through my treatment plan and seemed very experienced. However, the guy doing the x-rays seemed very inexperienced and he made several mistakes, causing many x-rays to be re-done.

Spotty results. I have had several fillings done by Dr. Hakim, most were ok but a couple looked and felt bad afterwords. It is hard to floss around all of her fillings. I also had 2 crowns done by her; one was not cemented properly so it had to be extensively modified after it was in place... Expensive service.

Don't risk it! After smiling at the door, they did a rushed, sloppy filling. Then I went back for "repairs" and the secondary filling fell out. And they weren't forthright about billing. They never made it right. A total nightmare.

Ok facilities and costomer service, but, in my view, inconsistent results. Sometimes I felt her work was sloppy - 2 crowns of mine were not set properly (she filed one too much, while the other one was set askew although it fit perfectly when she initially tried it on). Most fillings she did look fine, but others have imperfections.
Their cleaning service is generally ok, but more than once they had applied and charged me for periodontal treatments that they had not warned me about, and I could not understand for them whether the "problems" with my gums had occured since my last visit or before that.

Technically excellent. However, she tries to sell cosmetic procedures that are unnecessary and expensive (e.g. invisalign braces). The billing and scheduling people in the front office seem to make lots of mistakes. Very high quality dental work, so if you can put up with the rest of it, you'll get very good care.

Total rip-off. This is a dental office dedicated to money making by totally ripping off the patient. Their billing procedures are questionable and so are their treatment recommendations. It felt like I was dealing with a car sales person in a used car parking lot. Definitely will not go back. Front desk never picks up the phone and they never return calls either until you are calling for an appointment. Very expensive. They don't give an accurate picture of the insurance info. either.

Dr. Hakim is a capable dentist, but a few unpleasant experiences made me stop going to her. First is that her hygenist that cleaned my teeth always gave me a lecture when I saw her. I mean, I know I don't floss as much as I should... but does anyone, really? My previous dental hygenist never treated me like a kid.
Then one time, I was 10 mins late to an appointment because I was running late from a meeting, and I got scolded for not showing up on time. It was the start of their lunch break, and they refused to treat me that day.
Finally, they always send me notes at the end of the calendar year informing me that I have a certain amount of dollars remaining in my dental coverage and I should call them to get details on how to spend it. This makes me feel like they're more concerned about getting those dollars than really taking care of my teeth. I'm now searching for a new dentist.

I really disliked this dentist. I felt she suggested unnecessary procedures and pressured me to have them done. In addition, the desk staff would call me at least twice a month to try to get me to have procedures done that I wasn't interested in. I felt like I was being stalked!!

I had the best experience with Dr Hakim. She is very proffesional, kind and very confident. She did some porcelain veneers on my front teeth, and the result was amazing, I am very happy with my teeth and I smile more often now. Dr Hakim has very kind and caring staff as well. I would definitely recomand her
