I felt pretty comfortable for being in a dental office. He didn't make me feel tense or anything. I don't know why that other reviewer is complaining about. maybe she is upset because her previous dentist sold the office so abruptly and she is ticked off about that and decided to unload on Dr Alviri!

He seemed very professional from day one. He was very concerned when giving the shots ( which I hate )
My appointment went pretty smooth and I was done in one hour.

Dr. Alviri's front office staff is very young and unprofessional. The office and equipment old and appears dirty. The turnover in this office is frequent and that is never a good sign for a dental office. Also Dr Alviri wants to take xrays every time I come in, or every six months which according to the dental board is too much as they only reccommend once per year. I would not advise this office for any dental treatment

I am not comfortable doing this...I had been a patient of Dr. Mark Browne for 20 years prior to Dr Alviri assuming Dr. Browne's office location/patients...my beef is with the office staff; on 05/17/2011, I left a message on their voicemail cancelling my appointment on the 19th, due to the flu...I received a message on the 18th, reminding me of my appointment; I called back on the 19th, explained that I had already cancelled the appointment, but was told that they never received my message...when I explained that I have a call log that shows I made my phone call on the 17th, the office manager told me not to worry about the charges, as a courtesy for a long term client...on the 31st, they invoiced me $50.00 for the missed hygiene appointment...when I called to question this charge, I was told that the charges will stand, that I was never told that I would be comped the missed appointment charge, and that I would be taken off their client list...I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Alviri, but this disrespect in intolerable...from the comments that I have read about that office staff from other posters to this site, I advise Dr. Alviri to rectify this type of Napoleonic behavior from his office manager.

Horrible customer service from the get go. Dr. Alviri did not even introduce himself, explain what he was doing and left us with many questions unanswered. Meanwhile his seemingly 18 year old inexperienced dental assistant is braiding her hair in our exam room mirror during our procedure. Overall a negative experience. We will never go back.
