I did not like the fact that the teeth photo image supposedly had to be done and of course was not covered by my insurance. I feel that this was unnecesary and a way to increase the dollar amount for the dental office. This should not be mandatory and due to this I will not be returning to this office.

I moved from the midwest and was looking for a dentist in the north san diego area. My co-worker referred me to her dentist Dr. Lozano whom she has been going to for over ten years. What I liked about Dr. Lozano was that he took the time to explain the treatment I needed and showed me the area with a picture that he took with a small camera that showed up on the computer screen and took the time to answer my questions. His office staff is friendly and I was able to find the office and parking was no problem. Finally! I found a good dentist!
About Hygienist: She was very sweet and I liked how she walked me through our appointment, telling me what we were doing and when we were almost done. I felt the cleaning was thorough and gentle.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lozano for 4 years. Two years ago he placed an implant and crown in my lower jaw. This process was so pain free and easy, he explained the procedure step by step, and within 6 months I had a new tooth. It is amazing!! feels like a natural tooth. All of my work has been, great! I love the Hygienist Sharon, she is gentle, thorough, and very sweet. I listen to music and have actually fallen asleep while having my teeth cleaned. Debbie, Dr. Assistant is a doll, She's like ever-ones Mother, very sensitive, caring. Did I mention the blankets, and warm washcloths? Debbie always asks if I need a blanket, and then tucks it under my legs, so cute. Wendy the office girl is very sweet and on top of my insurance. Imagine my surprise when I went to pay my bill and was told I have a credit from insurance. Cool!!!! There is a new Hygienist in the office. I have not used her but she seems sweet and I always here her laughing. That's a good sign, huh!

I have noticed that he prefers to give crowns to patients! yes, i agree with the other patient stating that "he is rude to his staff'. I would not see this doctor ever again!

I had a crown put in. He is very gentle, the facilities are first class and so is the equipment and so is the staff. The most important thing for me was no pain. I have good insurance so the cost was not a factor. I highly recommend Dr. Lozano.

7 year old Daughter had root canal. So poorly done this permanent tooth had to be extracted. I had 3 crowns done by Dr. Lozano. They were so poorly constructed they caused jaw pain and crumbled out of mouth 4 years in. Insurance won't cover it because they expect it to last longer than 4 years. Dr. Lozano was unhelpful and unable to solve any of these problems. Don't recommend him at all.

Poor work and very painful. Dr. lozano is very rude to his staff. I would never return to this office or refer some one. Does not seem to be into dentistry. Maybe a career change???

Very caring, gentle, and trustworthy. I didn't feel any pain when he gave me the local anesthetic. His staff was also very polite and helpful in my decision making. I highly recommend him for all your dental needs.
