This place is scary. The carpet, the cabinets, dental stool, and overall appearance looked like it was from the 70's. Before getting work done, I asked the dentist about cost and a few insurance questions and he started stammering and seemed slightly flustered. He called my insurance company from his cell phone while standing behind the chair, and then scribbled out a bunch of illegible math equations. Told me he charged about $1,100 for a root canal. I got up and left, and was still billed $108 WITH insurance. The dentist I ended going to told me that everything should have been covered under my plan and didn't know why I was charged. The amazing endodontist I went to, who was EXTREMELY professional with a clean office, only charged me $710 for the root canal.
Staff was very nice, so was the dentist, but why is everything so old? Can't afford new equipment/supplies/renovation? There has to be a reason...

Went to Dr. Thomas on Friday for first time, was scared when I went in, but he made it 100% better. I went into his office and he shook my hand, felt so much better.

I HATE going to the dentist. I didn't go for 16 years and then decided I had to go because if I didn't, my teeth may fall out by the time I am 40. I found Dr. Thomas through a co-worker and I am so happy that this happened. He is so nice, and really caring. He won't do any extra work, he doesn't look to make tons of money off you, he honestly will do everything in his power to take the most inexpensive route but also the best one for the situation. He is friendly, and will make you feel right at home. His assistant, Chanel, is also amazing. Same with the office manager, Nancy. The three of them together make the best office ever. I no longer fear going to the dentist and have kept up with my appointments for 3 years. I am very thankful to have found him.

All I can say is you will not find a better dentist anywhere. his work is the best and he explains everything to you and why he is doing it as well as why you need it.
His staff is the best, so nice and also explain all too you. You get nothing done done unless it is necessary and it is the best work you could ask for.
You could not ask for a better job.or better people working on you; he and his saff are the best..Thank God there are peope like him around.

This guy is the best and his staff is the best,. You can't find a better dentist around.

Dr Tim Thomas is the best. He handles you with kid gloves. I have never met a more quality person or a more professional person in my lifes experiences with Docotor's or Dentists. If you are seeing anyone else and not happy, you should think about changing ...Now!

Doctor Thomas has a very relaxing voice and gentle nature about him. He was very patient for my daughters first time visit and was very accomidating when it came to working on her cavities. He has since worked on all of our family members. We have since recommended him to all our friends and family. Many have gone to him and also recommend him.

Dr. Thomas is a wonderful dentist. I've been going to him for years for routine dental care. I love that he does the cleaning himself, rather than handing off to a technician. He suggested Invisalign braces to straighten my teeth. Since he himself had tried Invisalign, he was able to fully explain the process and know exactly how long it would take. I'm thrilled with the results. When I was pregnant and visiting the office, he made sure to take special care of my mouth. He also discussed flouride requirements for my children. He always goes above and beyond. The office staff is great. Very rarely patient overlap. I'm usually the only patient there. Appointments are on time. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Thomas and his staff. He is the only Dentist I will visit in SD.

Dr. Thomas' office is always a pleasure to visit. He and his staff are kind, relaxed, and professional. I have always been satisfied with the service I have received there.
