I see Dr. Grace for all my dental needs from the very beginning of her practice in Sunnyvale. I believe it was eight years ago. During that time I had one bridge, two crowns and three implants. I satisfied with everything. I’ve smiled with skepticism first time seeing the name ‘ThoothSpa’. Now, I have to admit that Grace and David managed to create a spa feeling in their dental office. It obviously takes a lot of effort, discipline and passion to maintain the place that sparkling, high-tech looking and relaxing at the same time. Every procedure has done on high professional level and not intimidating in the same time. Few times I felt a sleep during the treatment that gentle and pleasant it was.

This dentist has done an excellent job keeping my gums healthy! I first started with this dentist 5 years ago with extensive gingivitis including several deep pockets of 4s & 5s. I was very close to needing surgery on my gums. The previous dentist had done a couple rounds of (painful) scaling/root planing and used expensive antibiotics on my gums. Dr. Grace Chyuwei didn't use the antibiotics on me, which saved me some money. She also did (gentle) cleanings every 3 months, so after a couple of years I was down to 2s & 3s!
Overall, their office feels luxurious, peaceful, and clean. They use the latest technology for everything from the dental equipment to the appointment scheduling. They provide massage chairs and peaceful movies for longer appointments. They seem moderately priced, their wait time is minimal to none, they're very friendly, and the check-in/check-out process is very smooth. They're very organized and they call to (politely) remind you of you're appointment.
About Hygienist: Very gentle! They use high-pressure water for cleanings so it is almost painless! Although, there's plenty of water that drips down my face.

Our whole family goes to Toothspa dental. My husband and I see Dr. Grace, and my son sees Dr. David, but we'll see either if our schedules require it. We even followed their practice from their original location in Sunnyvale to their new offices because we don't want to change. The staff is so gentle and considerate that I took my son from his awful pediatric dentist to this practice and he has done great. 10 years old and no cavities! I have needed a lot of work, unfortunately, and I have been very happy with the quality and appearance of everything I've had done here. It is close to pain-free, and they have massage chairs, warm blankets, and ceiling videos to distract you while you are there. No problem with insurance billing either. Highly recommended!
About Hygienist: Catherine and all of the other hygienists I've met are gentle, patient with kids (and adults), and thorough. The best!

I am extremely happy with Dr. Grace! I went to her to get a second opinion after a dentist in Palo Alto wanted to do 4 crowns and charge over $5,000 (about $3,000 after insurance). She suggested a more conservative treatment plan with only one crown and several fillings, and the entire plan (after insurance) has only cost me about $1,000.
She is also extremely nice, gentle and makes me feel comfortable even though dentistry terrifies me. I told her that I had had bad experiences in the past and she and her staff made every effort to make me feel less anxious, including aromatherapy pillows, dental chairs that do massage, and soothing music and TV to watch during procedures. She also has very nice aquariums.
I was very appreciative of the treatment I received at the Tooth Spa and touched that Dr. Grace was genuinely happy to see me get my last filling and hopefully be pain- and cavity-free in the future. I am definitely trying to get my friends to switch to the Tooth Spa! You should definitely go see her!

Dr. Grace and her bro are the bomb. They treat you like gold, and always listen to your concerns. Their new office is unbelievable, and nothing like what you might think a dentist's office would be. Go for it...give them a visit, and I can guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Grace Chyuwei is a kind, knowledgeable and caring dentist. Her office is welcoming, clean and airy. It has a spa quality. The surroundings are well-thought out. Each visit I have had has been pleasant. The worry of past dental experiences with other dental offices is now gone for me!
About Hygienist: Dr. Marianne is wonderful. She is caring, professional and helpful. She did a thorough cleaning, and took extra care in making sure I was comfortable, as I have gum recession and experience sensetivity.

My husband & I have been going to Tooth Spa for years. Even though we've moved from the area, we will still drive the distance to this dental office. Both Dr.Grace & Dr.David have changed our perspective about returning to the dentist with their wonderful chair-side manners & professionalism. The front desk staff is always very welcoming & we love that they actually know who we are when we walk through the door. This is an awesome dental office & we wish them the best.

Dr. Chyuwei explained everything that needed to be done in detail. She took her time to ensure the procedure did go right. I had a gum disease and found the treatment to be easier than I expected.
