Read Reviews for Dr. Daniel Wherley
With not-so-perfect teeth I had gone to one of the larger dental offices (Arbor) had an assessment and was told it would be $13k-$18k to do all the work I would need which did include some implants. (Part of this may be their "spa treatment" with hand wax and wrap etc.) As a single mom with no insurance not only could I NOT afford this but when I teared up and commented that that was a down payment on a house, I was "shushed". After switching to Wherley, (who does not do or charge for foofoo services) he evaluated my situation and recommended partials and a bridge as opposed to implants, which BTW are not always successful. This alternative was NEVER discussed with previous dentist. I smile with confidence now and at a fraction of the cost!! I have referred Wherley to ALL my friends including my husband who HATED and was terrified of dentists. He still doesn't like dental work but at least does not have to be dragged in to get it and his cleanings done! :-)

I began going to Dr. Wherley after he bought the practice from my previous dentist, some 30 yrs. ago. I completely trusted him, even with some facial bruising. Not a gentle guy. A couple of yrs. ago, he was filling a tooth, the drill slipped and the tooth next to it needed a root canal. I couldn't afford it, he pulled it and nothing was said. With a devastating divorce came no $ to pay the dentist. He knew it, never mentioned alternatives, just kept sending those bills. I have found some dental grants, some help on my own. The Dental School @ the University thought complete extraction might be an alternative.

Amazing dentist - and very highly regarded by the old guard of retired dentists in CO. Dr W. is definitley on the Colorado Dentists "A List" - and ALL OF MY FRIENDS go to him now. I have been a patient of Dr. Dan for over 20 years - and even brought my elderly parents to him when they moved to CO. He is kind and professional and really cares about the ongoing health of his patients. I also love the fact that he doesnt suggest unnecessary treatments - he even told my 85 year old father that "Giving him a 30 year old's mouth was probably not necessary" and said this in the most kind and respectful way. My dad got quite a chuckly out of that. Dr. W is very simply, the best dentist in Denver.
About Hygienist: Great hygientists too!

My family moved to texas, but weve been unsuccessful with finding a dentist who is as thorough, painless and attentive to our needs as Dr Wherely. The workmanship that hes performs brings him compliments from the dentist here in Texas. I will be flying back to Colorado since I haven't had much luck with finding a good dentist in Texas. Ive been through 4 dentists in Texas and none of them can compare to Dr Wherely.
