Dr. Blicher is an excellent general dentist. He is painless and does a great job with children. My daughter has never been afraid of the dentist due to his kind nature. They handle all insurance paperwork. I would recommend Dr. Blicher to anyone.

Oh, how I wish I were still in the DC area. Dr. Blicher was AWESOME. He's both an artist and a scientist. He removed all of my amalgam fillings and replaced them with the most aesthetically-pleasing material. His teeth look better than real teeth and his color matching is awesome. I only hope to find a dentist in Chicago as half as good as he was.

Since moving to DC, I have had my dental work performed by Dr. Blicher. The procedures were painless and looked great. Dr. Blicher and his staff were friendly and understanding. I've never had a problem getting an appointment and I've never had to wait to be seen.

Excellent on all accounts, the best dentist I had in 20 years. Dr Blicher carefully selects and discusses the best procedure, and then works on a single patient at a time, for as long as it needs, possibly a whole hour. His hand is light and extremely sure and the results are superb. He did several crowns: no pain, no subsequent problems. The staff is nice, helpful and efficient and Dr Blicher is always on-time. I highly recommend his practice.

I went to Dr. Blicher because of his Washingtonian rating. Dr. Blicher told me that I had a cavity that needed to be replaced. After doing the procedure I was in considerable pain, a first for me with any dental work. Despite repeated visits back to the office for corrective work, I continued to suffer from lingering pain. It got to the point where I was scared to even contact the office because I felt everyone in the office had been instructed to give me the brush off. Even now, almost a year later, that tooth still bothers me. I have never had any sort of dental work fear in my life but I have been too scared since Dr. Blicher's work to visit any dentist.

Dr. Blicher quickly identified and fixed a problem (that other dentists had missed) that had been causing me pain for years. I'm only sorry that I can't continue seeing him due to a change in insurance.

Dr. Blicher is like Merlin for me. He has done supremely fabulous work on my teeth since 1979. I consider it my extreme good fortune to have a dentist who is as highly skilled--and at the same time humble about his stellar abilities--as Dr. Blicher.
Given the propinquity of his office, I wouldn't be surprised if the presidents of the United States--as well as the White House staff--had Dr. Blicher do their dental work.
Before he made a bridge over my two front teeth, I tried to not smile. After the bridge, I smile with ease--and get compliments on Dr. Blicher's work.
Dr. Blicher and his staff are fabulous with their TLC and expert skills. He is a Merlin with an anesthesia needle, because he injects a so that only a very small/discreet area is anesthetised.
Dr. Blicher's equipment is state-of-the art--as is his expertise.
And a special treat are the underwater tropical fish photos that Dr. Blicher took while scuba diving.
I would be crest-fallen if I had to find another dentist.

I got 3 long painful full shots of anesthetic for a 10 minute filling! I was numb for hours.
