I have been going to Dr. Tim Elder for about 5 years. I actually started there with an "emergency" situation. He was wonderful and made the whole experience stress free. He tells you everything that is going on and what the options are. He has the best "chair-side" manner of any dentist I have ever been to! Your appointment time is the time that you see Dr. Elder. Never a wait! Tommy, the Office Manager, works great with the insurance companies. She works very hard and makes sure that insurance claims are filed timely and correctly. She is also an expert on Flex plans...very helpful! Everyone in the office puts patient first. They are just great! I would recommend Dr. Tim Elder and his team without any reservation! I live in Southern Maryland, but currently work in DC. Dr. Tim Elder will always be my Dentist!

HE is very pleasant,kind and gentle. The hygienists are very good too. They are always on time. He explains all treatment very well.

I used to go to Dr. Elder before but had to go somewhere else bc of an insurance change. Glad I have insurance to come to him again! I originally went to a person who specializes in cosmetic dentistry but he charged so much money and the practice had the worst customer service not to mention work that did not warrant the cost! Then I changed my insurance and came back! It has been so easy ever since!! Just had a crown done and it looks fantastic! And I am a hard critic!

Thought I was going to see Gary Elder, but I did not specify when I made the appt. Tim Elder was very pleasant, gentle, and gave good advice on how to go about dealing with some cavities. He also approached my case with cost in mind, advising me accordingly. I don't know if he's particularly cheap or expensive, but I thought the cost was moderate.

I think Dr. Elder is great. I've never waited in the waiting room more than 2 minutes, and sometimes I go right in. He and his hygienists are very friendly and I don't feel like they are trying to get me to buy any unnecessary treatments. I highly recommend him!
