I called on a Friday and asked if they had availabilty on Monday. I explained that my mother in law had refered them and I needed cleaning for my two sons. I asked about what it would cost she said around $60.00 per child. She asked if I was self pay or had an insurance. I said self pay. She made me appts for 8 and 8:30 for Monday morning. Upon arriving I had to fill out normal 1st time paperwork. The boys went back. Shortly after the dental hygienist came out and asked if I wanted exrays done since they had never been there. She informed me they would be $57.00. I said okay since it had been over a year since they had been to the dentist. So now in my mind I had spent around $240.00. When the boys were done the dental hygienist came out and said they were done and they had no cavities. I was at the counter paying and giving my credit card. I received a bill for $398.00. I was informed after asking that there was a $75.00 new patient fee for each child. I am so upset. I tried to get the office to understand that no paper work that was given to me stated that there was this fee and also was not told to me at any point. The office manager says that insurance companies negotiate so they don't have to pay these fees.

I have been going to Dr Graham for more than 15 years and I love him. I used to get very stressed at the thought of a dentist visit...but not now.
