I came to Dr. McGee, because I needed a number of fillings and had no dental insurance. His office was one of the few that accepted the fly-by-night purchase-on-your-own dental discount plan that I unwisely purchased to deal with the problem.
Dr. McGee inspected my teeth only a couple weeks after my dentist and found a third more "surfaces" that needed filling. (They charge, as is customary, by number of surfaces.) Thankfully, he only treated the teeth on the upper left side of my mouth, because I had the impression that he applied extreme force in filling the cavities (pressing in the material), and I had problems with pain afterwards for an entire year (one tooth had to be refilled several times with a palliative filling material by my regular dentist, to whom I returned.). (I've never had such an experience before.)
It should be noted that, for obvious reasons, I never went back to Dr. McGee to allow him to attempt to address the problem.
