Judging a dentist is difficult. We tend to think the dentist is good if we "like" him/her and if the pain is minimal. Actually, it may take ten or so years to really know just how good he/she really is; however, building your confidence, coming with the BEST of qualified recommendations, having cutting edge equipment, controlling bleeding, making sure the patient is comfortable both physically and mentally, following up at every step of the way, etc., etc. are sure indicators that Dr. Alman is TOPS!
A week ago, I had a mouth full of extractions, implants, and bone graphs. Amazingly, the swelling, bleeding and pain was minimal. He and his congenial staff continued to track my progress for the entire week following surgery. The professionalism was "spot on!" I would highly recommend this genuinely nice and most capable oral surgeon to my beloved family members and friends. Oh, did I mention: I have suffered all my life from dental/dentist phobia? Perhaps putting it into context gives you a better idea of my sincere and high regards for Dr. Alman!
About Front Desk: Terrific front desk! Positive, don't take themselves too seriously while taking their work very serious. Super nice, engaging, friendly and welcoming.

I was referred by my regular dentist to Dr. Alman. I had all four extracted this morning. Literally, I was scared out of my mind, especially for general anesthesia because I had never had it. I came to the office shaking. They took such good care of me, calmed me down until the procedure and I have no idea when they gave me the IV because I have no memory of it at all. When I woke up, it was like nothing had happened. I was wrapped up and ready to go home just a little bit groggy. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Had two top wisdom teeth (erupted) pulled. Almost completely pain-less, no complications, no swelling, left office 15 minutes after surgery. Very competent, personable, and highly recommended.

My experience was great. He walked me through everything that would happen. His manner is warm and gentle. His staff were all very sweet and professional. While expensive, I had a rare issue w/ him needing to build bone in my sinus cavity, so regardless it wasn't going to be cheap. Insurance paid nothing, but that's not his fault. They submitted claims and it was out of their hands from there. For an implant I was thinking there would be major pain, but none. While it was 3 visits and some time consuming by no means did I have any pain. Maybe some mild discomfort for under a 24 hr. period on one of the visits. This is a classy operation w/ full attention to the patients satisfaction. It's a very modern and clean looking office. I would reccomend him to anyone that needs an odd situation done right or everyday routine surgery. This was over a year ago. Had I known of this site i'd have posted this sooner.

From all the stories I hear about wisdom teeth removal, most of the times there are tales of pain. All four of my wisdom teeth were buried underneath my gums and required sugery so thought pain would be common after that type of surgery. After my procedure with Dr. Alman, not only did I NOT feel any pain at all, even after the anesthetics subsided, I didn't feel pain all the way through recovery. The doc was good! As additional positives, the office was really clean and the equipment in the office seem new or really well kept. The receptionist and other personnel were friendly and nice. I highly recommend this doctor.

Dr. Alman and his staff did an excellent job. Given that oral surgery is a pretty stressful and possibly painful experience, they were very sensitive about how it can be for a patient and realy worked hard to make it as easy on me as possible. I would recommend this practice; in fact, my wife is going there next month to have her wisdom teeth extracted.
