Dr. Althoff was really great especially after hearing that I had not been to the dentist in over 15 years from fear of the pain of Dentistry. He was patient, calm, used anesthetic and explained what he was doing. Very professional and personable. I will take my small children to him and y hubby and I will continue to use him happily. I would recommend him to anyone. Especially with a Dentistry phobia like I have.

Dr. Althoff does a good job cleaning. Has been very nice to talk to. However, after I rejected suggestions to veneer front teeth and double crown some back ones, he lost some patience with me, I guess.

This man ruined my junior year of college. He not only failed to address a severe jaw problem I had, but he also charged my family for dental work such as crowns that other dentists agreed that I never needed. After going through orthodontic treatment once, and failing to address problems I had in my mouth, I had to be put in braces again at the age of 21 and go through an extensive and painful jaw surgery that left me unable to eat for over a month and with a $40,000 hospital bill to pay off. My mother has also had her teeth fall out after work that Dr. Althoff performed on her mouth, and has had the work he has done criticized by more that 4 other dentists. This is not a joke, this man left my family thousands of dollars in the hole for work that was far from satisfactory.

Recommend Dr. Althoff for patients in and out of the area. He's that good. He is gentle with proceedures and the office is kid-friendly. It's visible that he loves what he''s doing! My family & I have been long-time patients.

Gentle, considerate, knowledgeable, accomodating and totally pain free! Dr. Althoff has been taking care of my family for over 20 years and we have never had a negative experience.
