Being new to New York City in 1996, I had not found a local dentist, nor did my hometown dentist know of anyone to refer me to when I had a severe toothache. Luckily for me a neighbor recommended Dr. Lenkowsky. His schedule was full, but he stayed late and worked me in anyway. The entire visit was an amazing experience. His staff was courtesy and made me feel welcome, even though they had to work late accommodating my dental emergency.
Since then, I have needed three more Root Canals. Every time I visit his office it is a pleasant experience. His assistant has been there for 20 plus years, I know for the 15 years I’ve needed his treatment, she has been there. To me, that says a lot, having long term employees and such a great relationship with his staff.

Absolutely the most expensive dentist I have ever visited. Charged 1675 for a simple root canal on a front tooth. He was gentle and the office was fine, if a little 70's looking but the rates he charges make everything else irrelevant
