My mother was s dental hygenist, so I have high standards when it comes to dentists. Dr. Maguire is painless, thorough, and a complete professional. He puts patients at ease, and doesn't talk ad nasuem while his hands are in my mouth. He also uses the tooth-colored fillings vs. those ugly silver ones. Any issues I had were quickly resolved, and it does not take months for an appointment. I highly recommend him, two thumbs up. Not to be sexist or anything, but he's easy on the eyes too!
About Hygienist: His staff is warm and friendly, and they use the electronic (?) tartar remover scraper - a must in my book.

I had an appointment with Dr. Maguire for the first time in March 2006. I suspected I needed an old filling redone and that a new cavity had developed.
I arrived on time and waited for over 30minutes to be seen. Then I met with Dr. Maguire for 3 minutes (I timed it). He informed me that my tooth looked just fine. No need for a filling. I tried to get up and then he said he saw a ridge on that same tooth that he'd like to smooth down. It was nothing pertaining to my dental health, rather he did so to give the illusion of having provided a service. In fact, he likely made my tooth MORE susceptable to cavities (more business for him).
He filed for 12 seconds and charged me $89. EIGHTY NINE DOLLARS!
By attempting this minor unnecessary procedure that may have in fact damaged my tooth, Dr. Maguire hoped to justify what he knew to be an unreasonable expense. In fact he was unable to look me in the eye when the assistant told me the amount.
That same day I contacted his office to speak with him and he never returned my phonecall.
I will never return to him, nor would I refer anyone to him. I consider my experience a personal lesson in the dishonesty of others, and he retains his unjust enrichment at the expense of his conscience.

this dentist is the best..he has a very special way of saying 'open wider' that makes you completely relaxed
