My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Bowlin. The wait for the consult appointment was over 3 hours, to be seen for 3 minutes by Dr. Bowlin. The sign-in procedure was a nightmare and less efficient than the DMV, there must be some way it could be streamlined. His office on Waters Avenue appeared grungy and unhygienic (thankfully the surgeries are performed elsewhere). A surgery was scheduled, and we received no pre-op instructions. On the day of the surgery, my daughter found out that she wasn't supposed to have taken any ibuprofen for 7 days prior to the surgery. That would have been helpful to know. And the after surgery care leaves much to be desired. No follow up appointment was scheduled. It is impossible to reach the office, even at their emergency line, for any questions or concerns after the surgery. It is now a week since my daughter's surgery and she has a dry socket, and Dr. Bowlin's office will not return my calls. It's like trying to see the Wizard of Oz. Dr. Bowlin obviously has too many patients to offer them top-notch care.
*grungy office
*overbooked appointments
*chaotic office atmosphere
*no post-op follow up appointment
*cannot be reached by phone after the surgery
*lack of personal care
I know this doctor: 2 months
