Not sociable at all makes everything odd. At times you will wonder if you actually need what they suggest and either go for a second opinion or wait to get any work done only to find improvements next appointment.
About Front Desk: Tina is kind of sketchy acting and appears nervous which makes you question what's going on (literally).

About Hygienist: Anna is the Hygenist and nice but when it comes to questions sometimes she cuts you off.

I had a root canal in a front tooth, was scared to death but Dr. Treon was very reassuring and did an excellent pain free job. Tooth is still doing good. I also had cosmetic dentristy and have a great smile now! Dr. Treon is quiet but has a reassuring manner about himself. I recommend him. Front staff receptionist who left last year was great , very warm and friendly.

About Hygienist: She is great. Friendly and seems bonafide friendly. Talks to you during procedure and makes the time go by quickly. Gives lots of tips and does a squeaky clean job. Never makes you feel bad about condition of your teeth.

He is not an extroverted, warm fuzzy kind of guy, nor is he a chatty dentist (he can go through a whole treatment without speaking to you pretty much at all) but he works very quickly and cosmetically does an excellent job. Easy to get an appt. Staff is nice. He will answer your questions well if you ask, but he pretty much will not tell you anything unless you do ask. If you want a lot of handholding this is not the dentist for you (though after about 7 years he is finally warming up to us : ). He's not super sympathetic to people with fear of pain or anxiety. On the other hand if you want your filing to be done in 10 mins he is your man. He does not seem to recommend anything unnecessary. My kid has also had several fillings and we were in and out of the chair in literally 5-10 mins or less for each one.

The dental assistants are polite, but Dr. Treon is rude and cold. He doesn't speak to you unless you ask a question which he answers in a quick and uncaring manner. I decided to change dentists because of him. At my first visit at my new dentist, they detected I had gum disease which went undetected by my previous dentist, Dr. Treon for many years. If it wasnt for me switching dentists, I would continue having gum disease without knowing about it! I have yearly visits and brush and floss so I take care of my teeth, but sometimes gum disease can continue undetected unless a professional can observe it when cleaning.

Softest touch I've ever felt -- true talent! His staff is all very friendly and Dr. Treon himself is always available to answer my questions.

Dr. Treon is very good. He is concerned about his patients. He very thoroughly goes over all of your options with you and doesn't try to influence you one way or the other. His office is great with kids. His assistant was particularly good with kids, but he is as well. Can't really compare the cost as I've had dental insurance. He has only a modest office (but it seems like he has all that he needs in it). One negative is: I think he doesn't use gas, which I really liked about the place I went before him--I had horrifying experiences in the past and am always way more uptight than most ( even for simple things) and the gas really relieved my nerves-- even so, he is such a pleasant guy and his staff is always nice and pleasant and helpful, that it is a very relaxing atmosphere: he has never hurried me in or out of his office. He is very thorough too. No matter how many times I asked him to adjust the work he did on my teeth, you patiently made the adjustments until they felt great. He is a very good dentist. Use him with confidence.
