Going to a dentist is at the bottom of my "Things I Enjoy Doing the Most" list!
It was my first visit with Dr. Lew. Told him of my fears and dislike for dentists. Had initial exam, cleaning, x-rays, plus two fillings. He was kind, gentle, considerate of my apprehensions - made me feel totally at ease. He explained everything he was about to do, then he explained what he actually did. He answered all of my questions -which were many. Entire visit was totally painless. Honest!!! Entire staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable. It was definitely
a positive experience.
I am assuming he sees children as well. If so, I encourage you to take your children to Dr. Lew so they won't have the negative feelings toward dentists that I have had over the years.
About Hygienist: Ditto for the Hygienist!!!!!!!!

Very relaxing atmosphere with personalble staff. Both dentists are patient and listen to you attentively. You feel free to discuss any worry without feeling you are being demanding.

Root canal. Dr Lew is a nice guy, does great work, BUT is kind of slow - meaning you will return for extra work as he ignores other issues unless you ask. I didn't at first - I figured HE IS the dentist, so he would fix the problems, but that wasn't the case. He fixed my urgent problems and the other work was just ignored until they too became urgent. I recommend him, absolutely, BUT make sure you TALK to him about ALL issues and make your appointments way in advance as he is booked solid. He has a really sweet, caring, dental assistant who handles cleanings and such - she is awesome.
