Dr. Winkelman is very good with patients but in my case, not successful with treatment. He did 2 crowns both of which had serious complications. I had extreme sensitivity when wearing the temporary crowns and he went ahead and put the permanent ones in anyway. I have had one root canal (drilled through the crown) by an endodontist and the jury's out on whether I will be able to keep that tooth. The second one will need a root canal as well. These were both teeth that had no problems whatsoever other than having large fillings. I have since then decided to go to a different dentist. If you need just regular checkups and fillings, Dr. Winkelman would be a good choice but I would not recommend him for more involved procedures.

He did my wisdom teeth at a very reasonable rate several years ago all staff were very professional and curtious.
