Made me pay for services up front even though my insurance covered it. After the insurance company paid him, I asked for a refund check and did not receive it. When I inquired, I was told I'd have to take it up with the insurance company even though the dentist had been paid twice for the same procedure. When I asked to speak with the dentist directly, because he had up until this point always been very pleasant and helpful, I was told that he would not speak to me.
About Front Desk: Very rude, unhelpful, abrupt, and not meant to be in a customer service position (such as front desk staff).

I am usually afraid of the dentist. I have had extensive work. Stuart makes me comfortable and treats me like family. He gives me all the time I need and never rushes me. His work is excellent. His staff treats me like a friend. I recommend him. In fact he cleans my teeth for me because of my fears. He knows I trust him. He does not have to do this. But he does.

annual checkup but tried to schedule a filling and had waited several months for the appt. - receptionist was argumentative.

receptionist named Bridgette is not polite. when I asked her a question about a treatment I was being charged for that the dentist had not mentioned she said " you will have to argue with Dr. Zaller about that , he is the dentist. I am just in charge of getting the money".

I've had a number of procedures by Dr. Zaller that have been costly and have not lasted as long as they should have. It's been more painful than my experience with most dentists. Often times the staff has been rude. If you're looking for a dentist in R-town, keep looking!

Dr Zaller is thorough and gentle. He's done work on both my kids, never hurt either of them. Very nice man, good dentist. I would recommend.

As a person who avoided dentists for years due to fear, I found in Stuart and at first his dad, Jeffrey, dentists who make me feel relaxed and comfortable. Over the past 14 years we have developed a rapport that is allowing me to have work done that I might have otherwise feared.
I would recommend them to everyone who wants great service and a kind dentist to take care of them.
