If you have to have a root canal he is the guy to do it. Last root canal took 4 hours. This one was a mere 1.5. And he has all the cool tools.
About Front Desk: Front desk was wonderful.

Dr. Gillespie and his staff make a trip to the endodontist and "the root canal experience" that is very likely to follow a pleasant and almost painless experience. Lindsey, the office manager, provides a friendly and caring, but also very efficient welcome to the office for patients scheduled to see Dr. Gillespie. Two very helpful dental assistants do everything possible to make the appointment less stressful and are always available to assist Dr. Gillespie with dental procedures. Dr. Gillespie is a highly skilled endodontist and was very successful in completing the various endodontic procedures required to treat my major dental problems. I also marveled at all the specialized equipment and modern technology he used to eliminate these problems. Most importantly, under his care, a simple root canal and a much more complex one, became "almost painless dental procedures." If I need the type of endodontic treatments currently available from Dr. Gillespie, I will most certainly return to his office for them. I also highly recommend him to other patients requiring root canals or related endodontic procedures.

Dr. Gillespie and his staff - I cannot say enough about them. There are a lot of reviews about dentists on this site, but I cannot help but think many of them are over-hyped. Maybe I'm just cynical! Dr. Gillespie, however, is nothing less than extraordinary. I went to him for a problem-root canal (he's an endodontist); I had previously had a botched attempt by another dentist and was hoping Dr. Gillespie could save my tooth. After several attempts, the tooth was found to be broken vertically all the way through the root. Dr. Gillespie said (quite sadly, I must say!) that the tooth had to be removed. He called an oral surgeon next to his office and had the surgeon COME OVER to remove my tooth right there and then. It was so wonderful of him to do something like that. Anyway, after the tooth was removed, my fee was comped and I was told I would receive the money back from the earlier attempts he made at saving the tooth. He is truly an amazing human being! His staff are all SO kind. They, basically, held my hand throughout the entire ordeal and spoke to me like we were close friends. Seriously, even if you don't need a root canal, you might consider one just to meet Dr. Gillespie. (Only kidding about that last part!)

I actually spent over 40 appts at dr Gillespies office for him to repair a major error by a local dentist. He never became inpatient or gave up when it seemed almost impossible to repair.I consider he and his staff(especially Kim} to be the standard all dental and health care professionals should strive for.I Love them! They even repaired a tooth for my mother even though he is highly over traded to do that type of work! My husband is a MD and I have a masters in nursing so Im somewhat qualified in what excellent care is and trust me this is where you get it. Sincerely S Toups.
