Dr. Van Horn is kind, gentle, and a perfectionist. She takes her time to make sure things are done right but also gets you in and out as timely as possible. Marnie, the receptionist, is genuinely friendly and nice and makes you feel relaxed right away. For the first time in my life I actually look forward to going to the dentist. (Dr. Van Horn will even seranade you with a song if you want her to.)

Dr. Van Horn is the best dentist I've ever had treat me. Her skills are top-notch. She's extremely good with phobic patients (like me), and she provides everything possible to ease fears and treat painlessly. She explains procedures and costs openly and honestly. Her office staff and assistants are very professional, yet friendly with a great sense of humor. She's not allowed to retire until I die. ;-)

My experieince was very painful all around. The receptionist/billing coordinator did not understand their 'new' computer program and were unable to give me a correct answer. I was mis-billed on 2 occasions, and was present when I heard another patient say "$475? You told me it would be between $200 and $250"...a long painful explanation followed. I would not recommend this Dentist to anyone. The temporary crown fell out within 2 days, and the permanent crown that came back did not fit and I had to return for a 5th time. DO NOT USE!!!
Price was very steep.

I was refered by a co-worker who had great experience here but while I was there I had a bad experience. All was well until I was getting some cavities filled and the drill hit my teeth and I screamed. Oh no Dr VanHorn shouted - the gas was not turned up enough so she immediately started singing to me and got me a shot to ease the pain. I wanted to avoid the shot - I have never before had a shot for pain. She proceeded and filled my teeth. 2 of the 4 teeth she filled had become extra sensative so, i go back to Dr Van Horn and she says it iwill be like that for a while... Well... it has been too long for me I need the problem solved so, I am gonna find another dentist.

Absolutely fantastic. I went in with SEVERE pain in my teeth and after she gave me the lidocaine and nitrous my pain was over. Her equipment is state of the art, and the nitrous mask was the best thing ever. She allows you to control how much nitrous you take in by breathing through your nose (for more) or through your mouth (if you feel dizzy). I am looking forward to having my tooth rebuilt by Dr. Van Horn after a horrendous root canal at a different specialist.
