Read Reviews for Dr. Richard Stovall
I saw Dr. Storen a couple of times when my regular dentist was not available. The procedures with Dr. Storen were much more painful than with other dentists. Also, he did not seem to notice when I was in pain (despite my scrunched up face) and continued despite my obvious discomfort, never offering additional pain medication. The composite fillings he made had to be removed because they were so painful and sensitive that I couldn't eat and they were in danger of necessating a root canal. In fact, I had to make a trip to an endodontist for evaluation. Once the composite fillings were removed and a sedative filling and later amalgam fillings were put in by another dentist, the problem was resolved nearly pain-free. If you are looking for a pain-free dentist, go elsewhere.

Let me begin by saying that I had a total and complete fear of the dentist. My parents highly recommended Dr Stovall to me when my upper wisdom teeth became infected. Let me just say my fear is gone. The Dr and the staff are extremely friendly and put you at ease right away. Dr Stovall handled the extraction of my wisdom teeth himself, it was a simple 10 minute procedure and I was eating at Red Robin the next evening.
Thanks to Dr Stovall and his office staff I have gotten over my fear of dentists. The dentist's office still isn't my favorite place to go, but I'm not afraid of going anymore. And the dental work he has done has been excellent as well!
