I suffered from extreme dental phobia for years, to the point of refusing to go even when my teeth desperately needed attention. Finally, when I lost the ability to hold out any longer, I went to Dr. Wilcox for treatment. His staff was very sensitive to my anxiety, and I was made to feel comfortable every step of the way. So far, Dr. Wilcox has removed three of my wisdom teeth and done one crown and multiple fillings. Everything was quite painless, despite my fears! I've had excellent recoveries from each procedure, and I feel little to no anxiety about the visits to come.
The staff was also very accomodating and helpful in working with my insurance company. Before the end of my very first visit, I had a treatment plan in my hands which detailed all the work that I would need done, along with the costs and the portions covered by my insurance and due from me personally. We used this plan to work together on laying out a schedule for my visits, so that I could be prepared both mentally and financially for each step.
All in all, I'm very satisfied!!
