Crown Happy $$... experienced post procedure pain went back the Dr. U didn't even pop his head into the room to check me...the assistants take an xray, tap my tooth (the one he just crowned) and report the data to him in his office. He tells them.. to tell me...I need a root canal! Assistant schedules me the next day to see his new partner....who specializes in root canals.....Then why did you install a $1,000 CEREC crown as treatment 2 weeks earlier? Enough said-
About Front Desk: Very pleasant...high turnover from what I see
About Hygienist: She's the only reason I kept going there

I encourage you to get a treatment plan in writing, including fees. Twelve restorations, 7 failures, thousands of dollars, years of my life and still no where near done. The response is always, "don't worry, I can fix it." Once healthy tooth enamel is calibrated or sanded off, it's gone forever. Buyer beware.
About Front Desk: I found out 3 years later when restorations began to fail that I had insurance coverage when I was told my insurance didn't cover the lengthy and costly procedure. Hold onto your wallet and natural tooth enamel.

The dr was fine -- nothing special either way. He is ot the problem in this office. He needs to re-evaluate his office staff.
About Front Desk: Office staff is horrible. They are untruthful, aggressive, and rude. The office manager should be fired.

Dr. Urlab can rob you if you let it happen to you.We needed three cavitys filled and he tryed his best to do pointless cleanings over and over again 6weeks apart even though they were perfectly clean.He made an effort to collect as much money as possible and let the teeth fall out just so he can do more work. After getting one crown fixed it started coming apart in less then four months! He also lied about the gravity of the situation! Stay away!" He is also very , very rude.
About Hygienist: Hygenists were all nice but tryed to cover up Urlabs mistakes

my wife WAS very apprehensive about dentists b/c the idiots she went to did not give her the sensivity, compassion, dignity and respect she deserved(that ANY patient deserves); you'd think these other dentists were veteranarians; that they never treated Human Beings before; Dr U treated her in a courteous, personable, professional way that my wife never had before, and it was on my birthday; what a birthday gift Dr. U gave me by making my wife happy and healthy again !!!!

Dr. Urlaub has treated me for years and I have nothing but compliments for him and his staff. He pays attention to the details and doesn't make you feel like he's too busy to listen. My latest thrill was when he replaced the filling in my front teeth. His artistic ability, coupled with his professional expertise, resulted in an improvement that has generated nothing but positive comments on the quality of his work. Many people think I had braces because my teeth look more straight and whiter! If you need an AWESOME dentist, who is also an AWESOME person....go see Dr. Urlaub!!

It took more than 40 years to find a dentist I can look forward to going to. I broke post on front "canine" tooth and had to get broken post out and then he DESIGNED a new tooth that fit perfect and I have been using for the past 3 months without any problems. There was NO pain and the staff was one of the best I have ever had. I have recommened him to all my family and anyone that is looking for the best dentist this is the place to get your teeth done.
