i spent over 7 years going to him ( total waste of my time ) he told me i had 2 ankylosed teeth and he did all he could to move them, in the process he messed up the positions of numerous other teeth, which he never corrected. he stringed me along in the hopes that he would eventually do his job in fixing my dental problems. what was most astounding of all, is on one visit, for a retainer check-up he said "we did a good job hmmm ?"
it was only further proof of his lack of judgement. he doesn't keep a journal of the procedures he does and therefore can't remember what he tried; what works, what doesn't, so he repeats the same mistakes over & over.
i am now going to true orthodontists and they are fixing what dr. schwalb couldn't, they performed various x-rays and determined many other issues with my bite. the difference between how they do their work and that of dr. schwalb's is substantial. i am seeing movement in the teeth that dr. schwalb called ankylosed within one year of my treatment.
