My family has gone to this dentist for at least the past 4 years. Both dentists here are very professional, and are very willing to handle patients with anxiety. Other reviewers has mentioned cosmetic procedures, and while there are signs in the office describing what they offer, they have never tried to sell me on any of them. Maybe I'm just that good looking, or perhaps hopeless. Dr Wang and Dr Patterne IMHO, are very honest, and very accommodating. I've had a huge fear of dentists for most of my adult life, but I've found them willing to listen, and to work with you to reseolve the issue. As it turns out, my daughter and I both have a resistance to novicane, and require greater amounts to achieve the numbness expected. They're quick, efficient, and very current on new techniques. Would highly recommend. (Parsippany office)
About Front Desk: Pilar is very easy to work with. I've rescheduled things at the last minute, and not once have I ever felt that I was being a pain. She lets me know the costs up front, and goes over everything line by line if you wish.

The dentist seems to be more preoccupied with pushing all kinds of services (teath straightening, whitening, minor facial cosmetic procedures) than with treating dental problems for a reasonable cost.

I had caps placed on my front teeth and 4 years later a cap fell off and the smell was so bad and my tooth was totally decayed. I found out the reason was food had gotten into the caps because they were not done properly. so I am spending an additional $2200.00 to replace them. Not happy I would not recommend this dentist. I also had a crown done and I'm still having problems with this tooth, bleeding, discomfort.
