Dr. Kalmanson is a very good dentist. He is friendly and knowledgeable and takes the time to explain what he is doing. He accepts my insurance so I normally only have to pay a co-pay, but a friend of mine who was paying out of pocket told me that his prices are moderate for this area.
Most importantly, I find that I can trust him. He will not recommend unnecessary procedures and he will take measures to diagnose and treat any problems in the most efficient manner. We asked him if my daughter needs braces and he told us that while she had a slight underbite, we shouldn't jump to braces, and gave her a stick to bite on which improved the condition and allowed us to put off braces until her baby teeth were out. His responses to other concerns I had convinced me that he is 100% dedicated to providing good care and not looking out for billable work that might not be necessary.
