Amazing dentist. He fixed all my gum, cavities, root canals problems. My teeth are doing great since I became a patient of Dr, Betts. He is the best ever, gentle and pain free. I have a great smile because of Dr. Betts.

Dr. Betts has done fillings for me and repaired a chipped tooth. He is also an excellent source of information and will discuss all my dental concerns, even if they are not related to the immediate treatment. One of a dying breed: a medical professional who is a true humanitarian.

Dr. Betts and his staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and take good care. He has always been flexible with payments which helps on a budget with 2 growing girls. Thanks for the great service

I like this dentist because he's straightforward and great to work with. I've referred him to others who have appreciated his candid assessment. However, I won't be referring pts to him since now I've heard that he no longer is taking new pts.

When I had to have my wisdom teeth taken out, I went in to see Dr. Betts, on the recommendation of a family member. In the consultation, he eased my pain with some prescribed penecillin and some pain relievers, and then set up an appointment to have him remove them. He told me that it would be cheaper, if not as fancy, than going to a dental surgeon, and he was right! I shopped around and found that most surgeons were quoting at twice the amount! he was offering! The procedure was amazing, almost completely painless, and I've been his patient ever since.

human, non-sanctimonious Doctors I have ever met. He is
conscientious of his patients concerns, does not rush, and provides a charming and unique dental experience for those not requiring pomp and circumstance.

Dr. Betts is the best! He takes the time to discuss and educate me on the procedures. He offers choices and explains the pro's and con's of those decisions. No gas is needed whereas he is patient and can sneak a shot in like nobodies business. The facility is classic old dentist facility-clean but not fancy. This is reflected in his prices. He has always been willing to help with payment plans as I move in and out of insurance situations. Interesting and fun to chat with and his receptionist is great and friendly as well. I give him the highest rating as a dentist with integrity!

I can't recommend Larry Betts too highly.
He's expert, caring, very sensitive to one's comfort level - he doesn't have gas (insurance issues) but he's very gentle and careful, making all the procedures as pain free as possible.
He's an artist at what he does as well as a scientist. He explains everything, pros and cons. He's also very sensitive to one's economic situation and will work out payment plans. He's very personable, has great chair-side manner, and he's interesting and funny, but not in an obnoxious way at all.
He's a true dentist of the community and the people!

I was referred to Dr. Betts by a friend, and was delighted to find him after having gone through two less-than-stellar SF dentists before. Dr. Betts is thorough, knowledgeable, and careful, he answers all my questions, and is interesting to talk with to boot. I highly recommend him.
