Dr. Lustbader is very efficient and very experienced. I definitely felt that he was extremely capable. His many years of experience definitely come across.
He is not a man of a lot of words, but you will be in and out quickly with excellent results.
The only area that needs to be improved is discussion of cost and reimbursement. I had a crown done (and done very well), but it was much more expensive than I had imagined it might be. I also changed companies recently, and Dr. Lustbader is not in my network anymore, so general services were also not completely covered by my insurance (Metlife). I like his work, so I need to decide if I will stay with him long-term, despite the higher cost.

Like most people, I've been afraid of dentists since I was a kid, but Dr. Lustbader definitely changed that for me. He is incredibly warm and friendly, and since he did my veneers I'm actually not embarrassed to smile in front of new people. His office across from Central Park is clean and well-kept, his hygienists and assistants accommodating and polite. I once had to page Dr. Lustbader with an urgent question about my kid's teeth when her own dentist wouldn't call me back, and Dr. Lustbader got back to me right away. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone, he's a fantastic dentist and a genuinely nice guy.

This dentist rushed through the procedure. Wasn't patient or helpful when fitting in the crown. Tried to get me to pay for the service before he began which left a bad taste in my mouth. I would not recommend his services and I certainly won't be going back to him.

I had a tooth that two other dentists told me could not be saved. Dr Lustbader was able to save my tooth, he was amazing!!!!!
My smile has never looked better.

Did an excellent job with my root canal. Facilities are rather plain but the work was good and the price was reasonable

I've gotten a few crowns, a whitening, etc, but Dr. Lustbader was able to save a tooth of mine that other dentists told me was a goner.
The office has few frills, but they are up on the latest techniques and the dental assistants are great and friendly. Their billing is very simple and fair.

I had bridge work done 8 years ago. Throughout the years I had to repeatedly get my tooth tighten and now it finally broke in two. Nothing unusual caused the break, but Dr lustbader is charging me $4,500.00 to replace the one tooth. I have no confidence in his work and hope the other tooth he bridged and capped doesn't fall out.

Seems good enough to me, but a bit on the pricey side. Facilities are clean enough, if not spectacular. Staff is pleasant and efficient.

He did three crowns and they all fell out within 2 years. The women that assist and at reception are very nice. The practice accepted my insurance, but often double billed and got rejected for a second payment. Dr. Lustbader doesn't seem to give a damn about his patients. When a filling fell out, he insisted that he would not replace it with a filling. When I asked him to do a temporary filling, he declined, saying that I needed a crown prep and impression and refused to fill the tooth. I was astounded that he let me leave with a hole in my tooth, and changed dentists after that.
Don't use him!
