I had one dental visit with Dr Judd, and after that actively sought another dentist for my dental care. I have had gum disease for years and many procedures to treat this; Dr Judd seemed to be in a great hurry to leave his office on the day I saw him, and he gave me the quickest exam I have ever had, as well as false reassurance that everything was great and my teeth and gums were in great shape. He has very old equipment in his office and cleaned my teeth with something that reminded me of a furniture sander and something I have never had seen before in my life! I was grateful that I had not needed any dental work that involved any degree of difficulty.
About Front Desk: Not impressive, not helpful. Just added to the negative experience.
About Hygienist: I saw only a dental assistant and Dr Judd.

I have been going to Dr Judd for ALL my dental needs for over 1/4 of a century . . fillings, root canals and caps . . he has done it all and re-done things that didn't turn out exactly right. I would recommend him to any adult that wants good professional dental work done.

Dr Judd is highly knowledable and very skilled. He was recommended to me when I first arrived in Phoenix 17 years ago and I have not changed since then.
It's a little difficult for me to compare costs since I have never been to another dentist for treatment, but it seems to me the costs are generally reasonable.
Often when he has given me fillings in the past - I have usually declined the anaesthetics, since I trust his work and it's not so painful.
All in all a highly skilled dentist who tells you whats wrong and can be trusted not to recommend unnecessary work.

I have had Dr. Judd as my Dentist since I was a little girl and now I have taken my son to him for his first visit. They were wonderful with him. I highly recommend him and his staff!
