Dr. Whiting is an excellent dentist for both children and adults. He is very careful about maintaining the procedure painless and making the patient comfortable. He also very caring and makes sure that the patient understands why the procedure is needed and what will happen, using photographs and x-rays on the computer screen to show the problems. Even my 6-year old was able to understand what was going on in her mouth and was very calm when she had a cavity repaired. The office is the most high tech I have seen and the environment is very soothing. The office staff is simply wonderful with patients of every age. The token given to the young kids to get a bouncy ball off a dispenser at the end of the treatment is a wonderful idea. I have dental insurance, so I cannot really judge the costs.
About Hygienist: I apologize for forgetting her name, but this wonderful lady does a great job while keeping the patients as comfortable as possible. She is able to explain to children in simple but convincing language why and how they should brush, and makes the cleaning as pleasant and fun as possible. She also gave us a link to a site that provides plaque-detecting tablets, so we can give occasional refreshers to the little one on brushing techniques.

Nice, pleasant, a pleasure to be his patient. He was very nice compared to most dentists in my area. There are some dentists who like to yell at little children for crying (EZ DENTAL) and he doesnt do that.
