this guy's great. I never recommend anybody, but I'll recommend Dr. Opper to anyone who asks. Unhesitating full marks! Call him.

Dr. Opper has been my personal dentist for over 20 years. He is very knowledgeable, competent and skilled. He and his experienced staff always demonstrate genuine concern for the patients emotional and physical welfare. The kind, calm and friendly atmosphere of his office makes me look forward to my next appointment as though I were going to visit my family or an old close friend.

If you dread going to the dentist (like many) or simply looking for a place to go that keeps a smile on your face then the Rincon Dental Group is the place for you. Dr. Opper and his staff are the best! I am new to the bay area. I moved here not too long ago. I was not looking forward to starting over with finding and establishing a relationship with a new dentist office. I was very pleased with my old dentist and his staff. After arriving to the bay area, I visited other dentist office prior to the Rincon Dental Group and none of them compared to the service I received from Dr. Opper and his staff. The front office staff is friendly and efficient. They get you in and out. His assistant, Mia, is such a pleasure and so patient. She really goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. And, Dr. Opper really knows his stuff! He is professional, thorough and takes pride in his work. The search is over for me. I have found my new dentist office!

Thanks to Dr. Jon Opper I do have a Hollywood smile now. He is the best Dentist I have ever had and I am almost 40 years old. Everyone who has seen my veneer teeth is asking me what have I done to have such a perfect natural teeth? The answer is: go and visit Dr. Opper. His work is science and art combine together.

Dr Opper is an excellent dentist in my opinion he has been my dentist for more than 20 years. The two qualities that I value most in him are his technical skills as a dentist and his personal manner and professionalism. He has always been open and straightforward about the condition of my teeth and explained what he feels is necessary to keep them in top notch shape, but has never pushed me to do anything more than what was necessary for good dental hygiene. The final decision was always mine but I always knew all the options and costs. He is aware that what HE feels might be the best thing to do, may not be MY highest priority at that moment.
He has done a lot of work over the last 20 years and its been done right the first time and I have never considered seeing anyone else. Besides his skill, hes a good down to earth guy who always has some great travel stories to distract me as he does his job; its not a doctor-patient relationship; its a person to person conversation. Great staff, they are always efficient and fun to work with and explain all the payment options clearly. While there are less expensive dentists in town, I definitely go by the saying you get what you pay for . And, you will not find a more high tech well equipped office. Thats what I want.

I've been going to Dr. Opper for 18 years now, and have always been happy with his work. I also just like him personally. He's very friendly and approachable, and he really cares about his patients. When I was getting fitted for a mouthguard, he spent a good hour polishing this or that place on it to get it to fit just right. Several times after he worked on me for a crown or a filling, he actually called me at home afterwards to make sure I was feeling alright. Wow. He's also gves great needle.
Everyone who works in his office is very nice and my hygienist, Carmen, is great. She's efficient and really knows her stuff.
I also like the video selection they have! Today I was watching Shrek 2, and they let me stay on to watch the outtakes...now that's service.

Dr. Opper is very good, but I agree, he is a bit expensive. I would still recommend him though as he is totally laid back and has a high degree of skill. His hygenists are also top notch and get you in and out very quickly

Dr. Opper is a perfectionist, a really high-quality dentist, total attention to detail. That's the main reason I go there. His manner can be a little smug and I think he does encourage cosmetic treatment when it's not totally necessary. I do really like the hygienists/assistants.
