I have been going to Dr. Bell since I moved to Austin 20 years ago. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my teeth or my families teeth. I reccomend him without reservation to anyone needing a dentist in austin. Everone who I have reffered to him has had wonderful things to say. He always has the latest technology and equipment in his office to help keep your teeth healthy. His staff has been with him for a very long time and I always feel like they have genuine concern for the health of my teeth.
I have a fear of dentists from my childhood. Dr. Bell has always made sure to do do whatever is necessary to make sure i am comfortable and feel no pain no matter what the procedure. When I first came to him my teeth were in pretty bad shape. Now, as long as I keep up with twice a year to three times a year cleanings, I have no problems.
Thanks Dr. Bell!

Wow! Just had a temporary crown put in ... what a great experience. Between the NO and U2 on Pandora, I haven't had a better dental experience. Kudo's to Dr. Belll and his staff.

I switched dentists because he hired my favorite hygenist. I really liked his facility. Got a nice parafin wax on my hands while they did their examination. Very nice staff, small office! Glad I changed.

So far, I've only had a cleaning and a whitening, but I've been very pleased. Normally, I hate, loathe, and despise dentists, and the best you'll get out of me is that some visits are bad, and some are not so bad. Well, the visits I've had with Dr. Bell and his team are the "least bad" I've ever had in my 41 years.
They're very professional, you don't have to wait, they do everything they can to make you comfortable (including satellite radio or TV), they've got gas available if your teeth are sensitive (like mine), and they don't push you to have expensive procedures if you don't need them. All the staff there have at least twenty years of experience, and it shows.
They're also not afraid to use themselves as examples, and they will explain things to you in as much or as little detail as you want.
They are a little expensive, but they're worth every penny.
Uh, wait -- maybe I need to post a negative review so that all you people avoid him and don't hog up all his time? ;-)

Had unscheduled visit due to severe tooth pain. Dr. Bell was out sick. His staff took X-rays and all but determined I would likely need a root canal due to infected root. Without my request, the staff immediately began rescheduling routine patient visits for the following morning and scheduled me to see Dr. Bell. Dr. Bell has excellent chair side manners. Explained each step of the treatment and what pain, if any, I could expect. Uses sunglasses, headphones and massage chair to relax patients during prolonged treatments. Dr. Bell's staff called the following day to check on me. Two days after treatment, Dr. Bell himself called to check on my condition. Both Dr. Bell and his staff are always helpful and while his treatments are not the least expensive in town, he's certainly got one of the most highly trained and effective staff who are always considerate of your time. I highly recommend his services.
