I had 2 root canals and crowns done here and I would rate my experience as average. The only really negative thing was I wasn't numbed enough during part of the root canal and had to be peeled from the ceiling from the jolt of pain!

I was having problems with a filling that was done and Dr Carrick found the problem right away and fixed it. He was extremely nice and personable. I would recommend him to anyone that doesn't like pain or anxiety when they go to the Dentist because he solves all the problems.

This dentist was downright cruel while giving me a filling. The 1st dose of painkiller wore off and the nerve in the tooth was FULLY sensitive, but he REFUSED to give me any more painkiller and continued drilling while KNOWING that I was experiencing a high level of pain. I was crying and almost got up out of the chair to leave the office before he could complete the job, but being new in Austin at the time, I didn't know another dentist to call in an emergency to complete his lousy work. I will never go to this dentist again and would never recommend him. Any dentist who REFUSES a 2nd dose of pain medication and who continues to drill into a tooth KNOWING that the patient is experiencing a LOT of pain shouldn't even be in the practice of dentistry. He not only didn't care at all, he actually projected an attitude that conveyed the message that I must somehow be "weak" and that I should just "deal with it!" This happened several years ago. Can't comment on whether he's changed his ways or not, but I certainly hope so. There was a lot of room for improvement!

Small dental office, but friendly, and very good service. I switched here from a larger chain, and found the personal service touch very refreshing. I've had one crown done here and have had no problems with it so far.

Not very cust friendly...my situation was over billing for an exspouse, they tried to hold me liable for HIS charge. After fighting tooth and nail and getting legal involved they decided to drop the issue and go after ex spouse for claim.
