Beware!!!! I had two crowns done by Dr. Heerssen, total disaster. Have had infected gums since the crowns were seated because of improper fit and margins. I questioned her immediately about the ill fitting crowns, she told me that was how they were suppose to be. Now, I have to pay again to have a QUALIFIED dentist redo both of these crowns. I would NOT recommend this dentist
to anyone!

I have gone to dr heerssen since I was in 3rd grade. Because of this I hate going to the denist. Years later I am still repairing all of the "work" she did on my teeth over the past 15 years. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone. The nice office and friendly staff does not make up for the horrible work she does.

Dr. Heerssen is an absolutely fantastic dentist. She is host to the most modern equipment, and is always the first to gain new technology. She was the first dentist in Austin to incorporate the CEREC inlay/onlay equipment, which decreased my time sitting in the chair and eliminated having to come in for a whole other appointments after sending in work to the dental labs. I currently work in the dental field and would recommend Dr. Heerssen over the dentist I work for any day! All of the procedures I have ever had done there were complete successes. Dr. Heerssen actually convinced me to get into the dental field and I love it, Thanks!
About Hygienist: I love the hygienist at Dr. Heerssens' office. I'm sorry I cant remember her name since I haven't been in for a few years after going off to college. But she was extremely nice, and very gentle.

Is the dentist for me, wife, 2 teen age daughters. She is a real pro. Did veneers for me and wife, great success. Staff is considerate, thoughtful, caring. Met me at 7:00pm on a Friday (normally closed) for an "emergency" repair of the temporary cap, was gracious, very concerned for me, etc. Fantastic office, all brand new in '05, latest gear, plasma TVs in every treatment room (for viewing TV, movies, or results of work such as X-rays). Highly recommended! (I can't speak to the cost as all the work is either on insurance and for self pay work, frankly I don't shop dentistry on price - I want excellent work done by a professional and Nancy fits the bill on both aspects.)

Yes I love Dr. Heerssen, I'm 19 years old and I used to hate going to the dentist. Dr. Heerssen makes it fun, and she will let you see your X-rays up on the big plasma screen. Being a child- at- heart, I also hate the sound of the drill, so when I was getting my cavity filled I could watch SpongeBob on the big screen, and hear it through the headphones! Her office is also gorgeous with all of the collectibles you would hardly know you were in a dentist's office!! The staff is always very nice, and courteous. I have actually chosen a career in dentistry because of my experience with Dr. Heerssen and her staff. Thanks guys!

excellent dentist, state of the art equipment such as computerized imaging of your teeth and plasma screens to watch TV and headphones to listen to music while you are in the chair
