When I go in for fillings, they Always turn into crowns and then to root canals. I now believe he does Not know what he is doing! He probably needs to go ahead an retire. So I will continue seeing Shelley and go elsewhere for treatment.
About Hygienist: Shelley is the best!! She really knows her job.

Dr Mentesana is the best dentist I've ever had. The wonderful receptionist is always so sweet and helpful. No matter how much I complain about pain or discomfort, Dr Mentesana does what it takes to calm me and make it tolerable. He works very well with my orthodontist and helps me understand any problems I have. This dentist is all about comfort for the patient. He's a really nice guy.

I drive across town to see Dr. Mentesana and Shelly, his hygenist. Absolutely the best! I trust him completely with any and all recommendations he gives me -- knowing full well that he will never recommend a procedure that is not needed. He's the first dentist that I can go to without using gas. I highly recommend him!

Supportive, very tolerant of my intolerance for pain, office staff also very kind and thoughtful, I don`t have to feel so bad about not liking to have dental work done. Does not make fun of me or ignore my needs and fears. Is very accepting and very patient through a long and complicated course of work that had to be done. Seems very knowledgeable and current in his field of work and very precise and persistent in his manner of working. I have a great deal of maintenance work because of a genetic problem and he is my choice for my dentist through all of it. If he feels it is beyond what he is comfortable doing, he does not hesitate to refer for specialist consultation and/or work.

Dr. Mentesana is an extremely skilled and professional dentist I have known this man for 28 years all as a customer and he not only takes care of my immidiate family but most of my extended family as well and all are extremely happy.

Dr. Mentesana is very particular and professional. He's not the cheapest office in town, but he does the work right the first time.
He's personable and pleasant to deal with. He also keeps up with technology - especially when it comes to implants.
His staff is friendly and professional. He has a very low rate of employee turnover.
I had a major trauma to the face and jaw. Over the last 14 years, I have come to respect his talent and abilities. I've had him repair another dentists work when I thought I'd use a dentist closer to home. I won't make that mistake again.

I have been seeing Dr. Mentesana for years. I find him to be very thorough, patient and understanding, easy to work with. He is very gentle when working and a down to earth human being. Talk about chairside manner, other dentists should be taking notes from him.

I really enjoy seeing Dr. Mentesana. He helped me get through an extremely painful gum abscess and even came into the office over the weekend to see me. He very honest and direct. I always feel like I am in good hands when I see him.
He's very smart and a talented dentist!!
