I met Dr. Abbott socially and even supported him heavily when he ran for school board in my city. I had a crown break and Dr. Abbott bragged he could make crowns in his office. I did not have dental insurance and the crown was going to be approx $1000 (this was in 2005) He would not allow me to make 2 payments had to do it all at once. # 2. Once the anesthesia wore off I was in total, total pain for 3 full days.. When I called the office, his little front desk girl called 800mg ibuprofen into the pharmacy but I never heard from Doctor Abbott.
Although the crown looked beautiful.. I was in total pain for 3 days with no contact from my dentist.. He just flat didn't care, had his money and that was all he cared about. It also felt like I had a vise grip on my tooth for a number of years. He traumatized my tooth so severely that the pain was excruciating.
A few years later I had a crown put on a different tooth by Dr. Barnhill and had absolutely zero pain and then knew this is how it should have gone with the first one.

I put off going to the dentist for 10 years until I found Dr. Abbott. I have never regretted it for one minute! He and his staff are professional, courteous and are careful to use masks and sterile items. I pay above costs on my dental plan because I believe his office is the best! Now, my whole family sees him!

very good , very friendly. computerized x-rays and photos. almost painless. cost similiar to others. front desk extremely friendly.

Crowns and refills in old cavities, root canal, expensive even with insurance, but think it is the going rate for an excellent dentist.
Great chairside manner. Always friendly and asks how your life is going. Makes you feel relaxed.
Insurance help--coverage between 60%-80%
Hygienists are always nice and very good at their job
Receptionists have been exceptional. His office opens at 7:00a-good for people who work regular hours
