I have been going to Dr. Lynne Gerlach for 20 years and can't imagine going to any other dentist office! I spent 20 years before finding her (and those were 20 adult years -I am 60!) going to a new dentist every year because I was not pleased. Then I found Dr. Gerlach who has always been so thorough, always fixed my dental problems with the most precision treatment, compassion for my fears, and total tolerance for my sometimes childish behavior about going to the dentist. Over the years I have had all kinds of dental work needed (remember I'm 60!) She has kept my teeth and gums healthy! The staff are equally as impressive; always considerate and friendly and do a flawless job, from the hygienist to the front office!

I love Dr. Gerlach, she is the only dentist I will open my mouth for!! I had a great experience with her staff, they worked with my insurance to get the maximum benefits for my new crowns- they advised me to wait until my benefits had re-upped for the new year and it ended up costing half of what I would have paid out of pocket. She is an artist and a perfectionist-two great qualities in a cosmetic dentist-my right crown had a tiny shadow at the gum line and Dr. Lynn replaced it at no expense, now it is perfect!

General Dentistry checkups.
Dr. Gerlach is good dentist, but her front office is a joke - totally incompetent.

Even though Dr Lynne and I have a professional relationship categorically, I feel it is more of a friendship when I am in her office. She and her staff, through the years, have always been most accommodating to whatever the need has been.
I have had a number of procedures that were all successful and virtually painless.
I have recommended Dr. Lynne to my friends and family, knowing that they would be pleased with the experience.
About Hygienist: Jane has been my hygienist for years as well and is delightful. She does an outstanding cleaning and I always enjoy seeing her every six months.

Does it say something that I am British and skeptical of extensive dental treatment? That Dr Gerlach was able to demonstrate, without pressure, the benefits of her treatment plan, speaks to her empathy, experience and diligence. My dental health has improved exponentially; the enhanced the appearance of my teeth and the health of my gums is evident even to this pessimistic layman.
Dr Gerlach ensured that I was never in any discomfort , physically or emotionally, and my only distress was that I could not, with mouth propped open, laugh out loud at the comedy double act between Dr Gerlach and Ashley, her assistant. The confidence and appreciation each has of the other's skills made me comfortable and calm.
Costs and billing procedures were explained clearly. The office is modern and reflects the ideology of Dr Gerlach's practice.
I would recommend Lynne Gerlach without hesitation. Dr Gerlach not only ensures that her patients have the best treatment, but that they understand why she recommends any plan. From reception to chair, the team works together to reassure and comfort.
About Hygienist: Jennie is the gentlest hygienist I have ever experienced. She is attentive, fun, meticulous and caring. After many bad experiences of ladies armed with an apparent meat-hook, it is a delight to slip on the dark glasses, lie back and let Jennie restore my teeth to smooth, sparkling clean.

Dr. Gerlach is a fine dentist, but you better make sure you have plenty of money as she typically charges double what the competition charges in Plano. We have also had billing issues in the past. $$$$

Dr. Gerlach is a good dentist, not great. However, her administrative office is a mess. Her staff cannot keep track of appointments. They apparently don't know how to file proper dental insurance claims.
Both my wife and I have had nothing but trouble with her office since she separated offices from her husband's practice.
I definitely would not recommend her practice!

All I know is that it has been since 8/2010 since I have seen this dentist and I have been sent to a collection agency and I can not get anyone to call me back from the dental office. I have never received a bill until now. I am being charged for who knows what because nobody will call me back. I am pregnant and this stuff stresses me out, they do not seem to care one bit about the stress they are causing in my life. I was told what my balance was on my account and I made a payment arrangements with them and now two years later I am being sent to a collection agency? I am very confused and very upset at what this dentist office has done and the fact that they won't even call me back and of course billing responsibilities in their office have changed. The only thing I come up with is I called my insurance and apparently they charged my husband for an entire procedure, mind you $800.00 for a deep cleaning? Does that sound right and he only received a cleaning for 1/4 of his mouth because him being a guy never went back and apparently we are being charged for the entire procedure, this is the only thing I can think of but I can't get anyone to call me back to explain. This is horrible customer service in my opinion.

All my life I have been afraid of dentists and hesitated to make scheduled visits because it was so painful. A friend referred me to Dr Gerlach when I was having tooth problems and believed I would have to have several crowns or implants. The procedure was diffrent from any other dentist I had visited; in that, they took xrays and made another appointment for me to return for consultation. After Dr. Gerlach explained the best and most painless plan for my treatment, I chose dental veneers. The process took several visits; each visit taking rest periods for both the doctor and me. The amazing part is I was not in pain at any time. The cost was not cheap, but considering my dental future, I chose to bite the bullet paying for the procedure myself. Since that time, I have happily returned for my painless periodic cleaning.
About Hygienist: The hygenist is very caring and gentle and my teeth feel clean and sparkly. Now I love my teeth and am proud to smile

I have know of Dr Gerlach for several years. I had neglected my dental care for over 5 years. I knew that I would be in for some major work due to my neglect. I went to Dr Gerlach office and was met be a truly professional organization. I had a broken tooth and I needed to have a major cleaning along with my gums needed restoration from being in bad shape. All of the work completed was painless which was a total surprise. I am a diabetic and Dr Gerlach made sure they took the proper precautions while they treated me. The dental office is equipped with the latest equipment and I knew instantly that I was in a professional well managed dental office
Getting back on quarterly visits to the dentist office was an easy decision based on my experience with Dr Gerlach and her staff.
Based on my experience I would strongly recommend Dr Gerlach to anyone needing a dentist in the far North Dallas area.
About Hygienist: Due to my neglect over the past five years I required a deep cleaning to get my teeth and gums cleaned and repaired. Jennie the Hygienist was extremely gentle and always checked to make sure I was comfortable during my cleaning visits. My gums and teeth now feel good and clean. Neglecting care for over five years was a painless experience which I did not anticipate.
