This office is no frills with old-fashioned personalized service. My five children, my husband and myself see Dr. Sophia Phass or her brother, or the other dentist at the practice. There is no hygienist, the dentists themselves perform all of the procedures. My husband had an emergency procedure done to great satisfactiion. I joined their practice after having a dentist who recommended an extremely expensive orthodontist for my child. I called Dr. Phass and she recommended a wonderful orthodontist that was a fraction of the cost and still gave top-notch care and service (Dr. Ellis and Dutson). I then switched permanently to this practice. Their rates are extremely reasonable. Very professional 2nd-generation dentists.
About Front Desk: Professional, no frills. Still use old-fashioned books. It works, why fix it. Love this practice.

Great work! Best of all---NO ROOT CANALS since going to her & NO PAIN!!! Crowns and veneers look & feel like my own teeth. I get a lot of compliments on my smile.

My family (husband myself, and 2 children) switched to Dr. S. Phass (Phass Family Dentistry about 15 years ago. The service I receive is extraordinary. The staff is pleasant and the appointments are punctual. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for experienced dental care. My insurance claims are filed automatically and the cost is reasonable. Dr. S. Phass has great chair-side manner and always talks to you to describe any procedures and answers all questions.

not bad, short wait time, good bed side manners, facilities are modern.

Cleaning, crowns, and cavities.
Good manners and good office staff.
Crowns were badly positioned and incorrect in size.
Excessive drilling which resulted in 2 root canels.
I had to find another dentist who had no difficulty in replacing the crowns.
Sophie's brother Dean also had problems in making crowns correctly.
Would not recommend this practice.

Dr. Sophia is wonderful! She has a great bedside manner. She also only does what is necessary. She is also very punctual and efficient. My girls, who are 4 and 5, also love her.

I was the new patient, and I was treated nice.
Dr. Sophia has very welcome personality. She asked my dental history and spent time listening to it. Although I didn't really have a big problem (She did dental cleanings and exams, digital radiography, and tooth fillings for me), I believed I could trust her for big issues.
From the second visit that she did the tooth filling, the next 2-3 days, I felt pain at that tooth. I called her office, her staff was helpful, and Dr. Sophia told me to visit the office asap.
She examined my teeth, and told me to calm down, because it sometimes took weeks/months to feel normal. I was reluctant to believe her at first, but finally the pain went away after a week. I think the most important thing was I felt, she showed responsibility, and acted it, not just telling her staff to tell me
whatever on the phone.
Later, I got the bill from her office asked for the payment, which didn't cover by my insurance (Bluecross). Dr. Sophia was in the network of my insurance. The bill was acceptable.
If I need to find something I didn't totally feel good, it was Dr. Sophia & her staffs talked about their lives & other patients while she worked on me. But I didn't hear any bad words at all.

Dr. Sophia is an excellent dentist who really cares about her patients, listens and takes the time to get to know you. She has a very soft touch and makes cleanings and fillings painless.
She is also extremely fair and does not try to push procedures or extras that you dont need. My husband and I started going to her after a bad experience with a local cosmetic dentist we went in to him for a basic check-up and walked out with a $15K + need assessment. I was so upset by the potential cost and worried about the state of our teeth that I wanted a 2nd opinion. We went to see Dr. Sophia and she immediately alleviated my stress and let me know what was necessary and what was not.
I also really like her staff and how they run the office. They always try to accommodate your schedule and are very flexible to work with.
My husband and I and my parents are all patients of Dr. Sophia and have no complaints. I highly recommend Dr. Sophia and the rest of her team.

I love Dr. Sophia. She has a light touch and she is very caring. I do not have enough good words to say about her. My only beef is that she is not as available as the other dentists in her practice. Only her brother (Dr. Dean) is almost as good as her.

nice lady, great work , clean office, only negative that I have observed is staff gossip that is a little 'biting'. If they would cut the gossip, they would be 5 star!
