Dr Schecht is an excellent dentist and I recommend him most highly. He brought me back from the brink of severe gum disease. He is always interested in learning new and better ways to practice dentistry. He did my crowns in one visit with no temporary crowns because he has invested in a machine which makes the crowns on the spot. He is also a great guy and a pleasure to work with. I first saw him because of a dental emergency eight years ago. He got me into his office immediately. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
About Hygienist: Jackie is very gentle, thorough and sweet. She taught me how to brush my teeth correctly for the first time in 45 years.

Just had my visit with Dr. Schecht, and I am so pleased. My husband and I had a very bad experience with our last dentist who was only concerned with making money off of us. Dr. Schecht was thorough and down to earth and really seemed to care for our dental health. We will defeinitely be going back to him and encouraging our friends to do so as well.
About Hygienist: Our hygienist was very knoweldge, friendly, thorough and gentle. Two thumbs up!

Dr. Schecht has performed several root canals and crowns on molars with complete success; no pain or complications.

I was not very impressed with Dr. Schecht - I was his patient for a little over a year in his Fairfax office. I always had high anxiety before going to see him. He doesn't seem to care too much when injecting novocaine - it is very uncomfortable when he does it. The finished product was pretty good, though. His facilities aren't the most updated. I expect a dentist now a days to adapt to new technologies to make the whole experience more comfortable for their patients and to make the quality of their work better. I've since been seeing a new dentist who is wonderful! I have been very happy since being to a better dentist.
