way too expensive. staff can't handle special insurance requests. promise you coverage and you get none. some assistants rude. no follow up on how you're doing after extensive surgical procedures. Not even a hi how ya doing? from Dr. he's too busy to be botherd. started out as a nice place. now looking for new dds to finish my work. spent many 1000's and got little!!

Dr. Swanlund's services are very expensive compared to other local dental practitioners, Exceptional care is taken in sterile technique and cleanliness with each patient and handwashing using universal precautions in between patients. He is very skilled and hires excellent hygienists. (Our former dentist, Dr. Paul Elsberry (retired), would call the evening of a procedure whether fillings, crowns, root canals etc., to follow up on how myself or family member was doing. I miss this service ). Dr Swanlund referred me to a specialist for oral surgery. His peer had exceedingly poor communication skills and very poor universal precautions technique (a complete contrast to the care I have received with Dr. Swanlund). Dr. Swanlund seems to know his limits, tho was unaware of his co-hort's deficiencies. I did notify Dr. Swanlund of my experience and assume he will not refer this oral surgeon in the future. Dr. Swanlund has good communication skills, and he will also return a call if there is a question about medications or treatment.
I know this doctor: 10 years
