Dr. Labounty is a great doctor. Her staff on the other hand is another story, they were rude and very unwelcoming. Both times that I've been in they ignored me until I said something. I would like to go back but with a rude staff I don't think I would want to. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Labounty only when she hires a nicer staff.

Dr Labounty prescribed some procedures that were later deemed unnecessary by other dentists I visited after I was fed up with her staff and changed dentist; that staff did a regular-like cleaning on my teeth and claimed fees for a deep cleaning. The staff never disclosed to me it was part of the deep cleaning and the procedure was just like a regular tooth cleaning. And it was very painful because of the poor performance of the staff. She said it was a cleaning up for a deep cleaning later. What!! I have done deep cleaning before and never knew there would be a preparatory phase for deep cleaning. A couple of dentists I visited later said they have never heard of such a preparatory phase for deep cleaning. When I spoke with that nurse/staff as I refused to have the insurance company pay them the deep cleaning fees they claimed, that staff was like a bitch insisting she told me it was part of a deep cleaning. I refused to pay them the deep cleaning fees as I felt being cheated by her office. I would not recommend this dental office as I think honesty is brutally important in this profession.

I had my teeth cavity done thru Dr. Susan. Few thing that were outright wrong while she was doing the treatment:
- She kept on talking all the while with her assistant while she was treating my teeth
- Was in a hurry like a dog was behind her
After treatment, I started having pain and went to her 3 times after that. On the first time, she started developing this theory that there might be a crack in the teeth. Hey, if there was a crack, why didnt you notice it first? Other theory she proposed was that the filing might not have gone properly and she tried to fix it for 3 times. After which I was fed up and asked her to refund the money. She is a stubborn lady and kept on stating that i now need to get root canal. I do not mind doing that, but i feel cheated into having a cavity done and of which I feel the treatment was poor that resulted in the whatever condition my teeth are in now.
Overall, I will never recommend her to any one....

Dr. LaBounty is among the best dentists I've seen. I am new to the area and used this site to find a highly recommended dentist. Her prior reviews are accurate and she did not disappoint. I was very comfortable in her office and Dr. LaBounty put me at ease. I would highly recommend her and will visit her in the future. Her hygentist, Florence, is also very nice and did a good job.

I've been seeing Susan for years and I think that she is very honest and does a great job. On all her chairs she has massage vibrating pads so it's very comfortable. Her technician Florence is very fast and does a good job. I moved to CA and I still come home and make sure to get my teeth cleaned while I'm there.

Dr. LaBounty is the best dentist I have ever visited. She is smart, does excellent work and is very careful to make the patient comfortable. The office is extremely clean and neat and the staff very friendly. This dentist cares about her patients and remembers everything about them. She is very skilled, friendly, and interested in the dental health of her patients. The front desk handles all the insurance work and knows insurance rules. They have heated chair pads and blankets for those that require extra comfort. I am a fearful patient and this is the only dentist I will visit. I have never felt pressure or shame form anyone in the office for my problems with xrays etc. If you want an excellent dentist who cares about you as a patient, is careful and concerned about pain, keeps a very clean office and equipment, then visit Dr. LaBounty.

She is too good! The best thing i liked was that she will not tell you false things that you need a root canal or a filling etc etc. I have seen so many dentists over past many years but most of them were out to make money. She is so honest yes HONEST about what treatment you teeth need.

Best of the best! I was referred by a friend. Now I refer my friends. Works carefully (no pain), does careful, high quality work, billing/insurance help is outstanding, terrific chair-side manner and wonderful staff. All the spa touches are amazing.

Overall a great practice: Dr. LaBounty is highly professional with excellent chairside manner, extensive experience and always very open and communicative. Good with kids too.
The doctor is able to refer you to other high quality professionals, if your case calls for oral surgery or a pediadentist.
Staff is very friendly and professional. The office is clean, light and spacious. The waiting area is pleasantly homey, very clean and comfortable, with better than average little-kid-friendly features. Your kid will want to come back.
Location is terrific, if you work for MSFT -- she's about a quarter mile off the East end of main campus. Building has ample parking and is accessible from Bel Red Road.
