Dr. Bede is very friendly and makes your time at the dentist as enjoyable as possible. He has been in the profession for at least 30 years and I would not ever consider changing dentists. The staff there are very helpful and willing to work with your needs.

Dr. Bede is very kind and really makes the patient feel at ease. He works quickly and accurately. This is by far the best dentist I've ever seen for treatment. I had a few fillings done as well as a crown placed on one of my teeth. I've never had such a pain free visit to a dentist. I give him 2 thumbs up.

high level of pain when molds being taken. Felt like my air pipe was going to be blocked by excess glue, had to take mold three times.
Unsuccessful crown and refused to pay for proceedures necessary as aftermath.

I was very pleased with the concern and the accurate method of dentistry exercised by Dr Bede. Affable nature and professional demeanor. Received excellent help with a broken crown and was able to save a tooth. That was 18 months ago and subsequent visits have proven Dr Bede to be an excellent choice for my dental needs.
About Hygienist: Dr Bede's dental hygenists are kind and capable, professional and anxious for the best outcome of the patient.

Dr. Bede is like a kind grandfather who I have no qualms about totally surrendering to. He is super gentle, and makes me feel like his full attention is completely focused on me. He's caring, treats conservatively (meaning, no unnecessary fillings for "possible" decay), and is always prompt yet seems to spend as much time with you as you need. The hygienists are also really friendly and gentle. All in all, the best dentist experience I've had - I highly recommend him!!

From the moment we walked into the office, our fears were laid to rest...we knew we could pick them up again on the way out. Dr. Bede was already attending to two patients, and it was only 0730am. His staff greeted us politely and confirmed our reservation. Someone had called us previously to remind us of our appointed time, no worries. We barely had a chance to sit down and get into the myriad of magfazines, when gorgeous Georgia approached. Who needs anaesthesia when those great big beautiful eyes greet you? Well maybe my wife would, but that was not part of the deal. We had negotiated our price for our visit "up front" and asked for no anaesthesia (I hope this box runs spell check) as well as the rate for a procedure which could be accomplished without an assistant or hygieneist...no insurance, cash, no need for parking validation (we took the bus). This being said, my wife entered the operating room with somewhat shaky knees. Several hours later, she returned somewhat shaken, but not stirred. Voila! My glamour girl returned, with that hollywood smile that she is so famous for. Dr. Bede is our hero, and we shall return.
About Hygienist: Not required on this visit, but quite lovely.

Overall a good dentist but if you need a root canal, I'd recommend starting with a specialist (endodontist). My root canal failed 4x. He redrilled it 1x, then tried antibiotics for the third infection. On the fourth infection, I (after 3 years of off and on problems) found a specialist and discovered I had 2 canals in one tooth. Apparently not too uncommon. Dr. Bede had drilled one of them but not the 2nd which was where the recurrent infections were coming from. As far as fillings, basic dental care and chair-side manner he was great.

Dr. Bede and his staff are very friendly and professional. He always has a warm greeting and he recalls things we discussed in prior visits. His procedures are smooth, efficient and painless. Even the numbing injections are done skillfully and with minimal discomfort. Their billing staff members are patient and helpful. Insurance reimbursement is usually slow for them, yet they have never made it an issue with me. I have even offered to pay part or all of a balance due when insurance reimbursement is especially slow. They have always refused my offer saying it was just fine and not to worry about it. They are terrific! I always look forward to my appointments with them.

I have never had a serious procedure done by Dr. Bede--however, he has provided quality cleanings and gave me a referral to have my wisdom teeth pulled. His office is definitely the "you see the assistant for 1/2 hour and Dr. Bede for 5 minutes" type, but he's a nice guy and the office is well-run and convenient to get to from many downtown locations.
