Read Reviews for Dr. Kathy Curtis
Dr. Curtis and her staff are wonderful both technically and chair side manner wise. I hadn't been to the dentist for 10 years and have extensive gum recession as well as significant erosion of all my teeth due to holding acidic liquids (mainly coffee and wine) in my mouth for long periods of time. She took care of it all with one crown, two fillings (cavities) and the rest with state of the art bonding using a compound resin. She says she can control the gum recession and subsequent bone loss by performing a scaling (deep cleaning) and root planing four times a year. A much better, cheaper and much more pain free alternative gum grafting and bone planing. Her fees seem to be very reasonable for the quality work she does. Also, Dr. Kathy and her staff were very good at putting me at ease through the entire procedures. I'm so thankful I found this dentist.

I really wish that Kathy was up here in Kirkland. She's by far the best Dentist that I've had all my life. I went to her office for 2.5 years while I lived/worked in downtown Seattle. Her dental office are very clean, she uses the most up to date technologies and she and her staff are a pleasure to be around.

They were very accomodating in a tight schedule. The facilites are top notch. The hygenist had just graduated, the cleaning felt mediocre. When Dr. Curtis came in to do the final check, there was some clumsiness - utensils falling on me and then on to the floor. Of course a new on was used after that but it has never happened to me before.

So far I've gone for a basic exam and cleaning, and both were completely relaxing, especially for someone who has dentist anxiety or hasn't been to the dentist in awhile like myself. Not sure how Dr. Curtis does on the cost scale because I have insurance. Dr. Curtis is especially great with being honest with patients about options for major work and the costs that are involved with each option. Everyone in the office is incredibly friendly, from the front desk to the hygienists and Dr. Curtis herself. Highly recommended!

I adore Dr. Curtis - I tried several dentists in the Seattle before I finally found one I was happy with. I just had a cleaning yesterday and there was temp hygienist filling in for the regular one who was on vacation. The temp was a bit rougher than the regular gal. I think the costs are pretty standard. Dr. Curtis is conscious of what procedures will cost you, which I appreciate. The office which also displays art is lovely, but the set up of the reception desk is a bit haphazard.

Dr. Curtis & her staff are very gentle.
I've nearly fallen asleep during the cleanings - more like a mouth massage than anything else.
Dr. Curtis goes out of her way to use environmentally friendly techniques (ie computer imaging for new x-rays rather than the old processing-solution crap) They also explain what is happening in my mouth in terms I understand.
My insurance has covered treatments so I cannot speak to the cost.

Dr. Curtis is genuinely interested in doing what was best for my dental health. The dentist I had been seeing had recommended replacing a number of my old fillings with crowns. Dr. Curtis recommended trying to replace the fillings with new fillings and tried to save as much of my tooth as possible. I think that she and her staff are very gentle, friendly and thoughtful.
