Read Reviews for Dr. Richard O' Day
Was impatient when injection anesthetic didn't fully stop the pain of my being injected with anesthetic. Finally gave one last injection that did the trick, but I had to ask for it! After he pulled the wisdom tooth, and I continued to have pain that increased about 4 days afterwards, his assistant treated me as if I were a big baby, when in fact, I had developed a painful DRY SOCKET! Then, he treated me as if I might be becoming a Vicodin addict. He also obviously resented having to come in on a weekend, when he was "on call", and I was in pain and needed "packing" with clove oil dressing (Eugenol). He was clear that he didn't like me. And, he also MISSED the fact that I had a raging infection. I learned of the infection when I went to a different oral surgeon, who IMMEDIATELY saw a pocket of PUS, and IMMEDIATELY pulled the very infected molar that was next to the dry socket (former wisdom tooth).. I never received a follow-up call ever, or again, from Dr. O'Day's office--he was probably happy that I was gone from his practice. An uncomfortable experience. He did well in extracting the wisdom tooth, but his manner and resentments and missing the infection, plus the mean assistant, all drove me away from his practice.
I know this doctor: several weeks
