About Front Desk: TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I had my wisdom teeth extracted in September of 2012 at Atlanta Oral and Facial Surgery. I paid what they said would be my full out of pocket responsibility then. For NINE months they sent me a bill for the full amount of the procedure. When I called to ask why Pam told me that BCBS wasn’t paying the claim and that the bill is MY responsibility and they had done everything they could to try to collect from BCBS. Twice Pam told me to call BCBS and twice I documented everything BCBS told me. BCBS said that Atlanta Oral and Facial wasn’t submitting the claim properly and as soon as they did BCBS would pay it. To which Pam scoffed both times I relayed the information. NINE MONTHS after the procedure Atlanta Oral and Facial must have submitted the claim correctly and BCBS paid the claim. THEN I get a final bill from Atlanta Oral and Facial for $180 bucks! I called Pam again and told her that I paid what Atlanta Oral and Facial said would be my FULL out of pocket responsibility on my initial visit. Pam told me they try to get that number close but lately they have been wrong a lot. Mind you “lately” includes 10 months ago. PLEASE do yourself a favor and make the HORRIBLE experience of wisdom teeth extraction easier on yourself by taking your business to a practice that values customer service.
