Dr. Ward and his staff are very nice, and he is very gentle. I had a tooth that was bothering me so the Dr. pulled the tooth and sent me about my business. When I returned for my follow up, he took a follow up x-ray and told me he was satisfied with he saw and sent me about my merry way. Once the swelling went down, I noticed that he left a piece of the tooth in my mouth! So I have to go back to him to complete the job since I'm still paying for the proceedure.

More than professional. He had a lot of celebrities in his office that were soon put into rooms. His office is quite and Very Professional- no one talks. Then they evidently leave by another way. The same way that I left. Another door.
Had a broken jaw from skiing. Had to take a cat scan(?) in the office and told me my jaw was "F'n Broken" but not out of alignment. I could have my jaws wired together for 4-6 weeks or have an operation. I had the operation - at Cornell Medical Center and was chewing in 1 week.
He is the best Maxilofacial (SP?) doctors in the world.
I went back skiing 3 weeks later.
Just sit in his waiting room and sees who comes in. Amazing!
About Front Desk: Quite and professional. No real attitude. Other staff like Marc, the manager - awesome !

Routine wisdom tooth extraction- Dr. Ward charged me twice as much as any other oral surgeon in the area and was pushy to remove a second wisdom tooth that was by all accounts fine. But, based on a recommendation, I went. He then screwed up the surgery- overextended my jaw, leaving me with a lifelong TMJ disorder that will cause periodic, severe pain that cannot be treated. He is now unable to help or admit anything went wrong, in spite of screaming, blinding pain far worse than anything before I went in for a small infection in my wisdom tooth. Do not go to this surgeon.

I was extremely nervous about having my wisdom teeth taken out. I met Dr. Ward and was instantly at ease. We just talked about where I grew up, what I did and then finally about my wisdom teeth. He explained everything to me. What a great doctor. I wish he was my general doctor. He put me under anesthesia, removed my widom teeth and I woke up an hour later and everything was done! The office is awsome/funky colors and fun. Iwill recommend Dr. Ward to anyone who is going to have oral surgery.

He has a brand new office at 353 Lexington avenue. Wow! Awsome office. I heard he was at Cornell Hospital and was good. He is great/awesome x 10. He put me to sleep and took out all of my wisdom teeth under anesthesia. No pain! Called me the next day. Best of all he takes my insurance. Nice guy.

Dr. Ward was the second specialist I saw regarding a tricky wisdom tooth, where if the nerve was damaged I would have had numbness on that side of my face forever. Not only was he willing to do the surgery but he had a strategy that would definitely not damage the nerve. All he said, he did & my surgery was a success. I can not thank or praise him enough, I will recommend him to everyone & will go back to him when ever needed. He's the best!!!
